Hooray for V-Day!

For Valentine's Day, Sasha invited me over to have dinner with him. It was kind of funny that his dad, in particular, was stalling for time by watching the National Geographic. Sasha's mom looked really cute because she wore a little bit of make up, when she usually doesn't, and it made her eyes look really blue.

For dinner, Sasha made a simple alfredo tortellini with some vegetables with candles and dim lighting. I kind of got buzzed with the drinks he made so I was so impressed by the romantic tone. The kicker was the chocolate-dipped strawberries that we fed to each other with whip cream. I was so full I stated that I felt like a beached whale. Sasha looked at me strangely so I said that I was full of yummy goodness :P We cuddled on the couch while watching a movie.

When his parents came home, we moved to the basement and cuddled even more on the couch while watching an old Bond movie. It got late and I was getting tired so he drove me home and gave me my Valentine's gift, which consisted of it being a box of chocolates and a tiny stuffed elephant holding a rose :D

Overall, this is the best V-day. Unfortunately I don't remember last years... nor do I want to remember the year before that. I am blown away by the effort he put into it and it made me happy to experience some romance that I missed out on in my last relationship.
